FIFTYONE BREWERY
When i first met Mpho Mosholi, one of the founding members of FiftyOne I was immediately impressed by his humble nature. Well spoken and dressed in a navy blazer, neat shiny black shoes and a Chino. We spoke at length about our businesses as well as challenges we were facing as start-ups.
I was particularly impressed by his approach to customers as he was explaining to them about his Cider and the passion he displayed. Only his dress code and the cider flavors he talked about would be enough for you to grab six pack of those babies and take them home (Presentation skills).
Founded by Mpho Mosholi and Hloni Matabola in 2017, I believe these two young Black Bloemfontein based oakes have found that unique South African blend we all can relate to. Their cider is made from a combination of Apples and cranberries (Motswako). Some of their notable achievements comprise of coming second place in the “Pitch and Polish” 2018 competition sponsored by Engen, Nedbank as well as Raizcrop.
